About Me

Sarah, the former owner, and President of SWG Consulting, Inc., is a retired Human Resource Management Consultant where she implemented software for her clients. She now enjoys life on her front porch at her home on the family's old home place in south Mississippi, near Sullivan's Hollow and the banks of Cohay Creek in Smith County.

Her hobbies include Freelance Writing (she writes a column for the Taylorsville Post - titled "From the Front Porch" and has a blog of the same name), her family, her two Pomeranians, all things related to Genealogy, and travel.

Sarah is co-authoring her first novel with friend Mary Cooke, a Published Author who writes as Mary Lou Cheatham. Mary Lou was reared in the same area, and her mother was the midwife when Sarah was born.

Sarah is the Organist for her church - the Taylorsville United Methodist Church. Her great-grandfather, Rev. D. C. Langford was one of the first pastors of the church and her grandparents were wed in the same church in 1910.
